Malaysian personality Wak Doyok apologises to Johor prince over custom ring

He had apparently ordered a custom-fabricated ring bearing the crest of the royal family, which is against the constabulary.

Malaysian amusement personality Wak Doyok has had to apologise to Johor prince Tunku Idris and the land'south royal family after being called out on Instagram for ordering a custom ring bearing the regal crest.

Tunku Idris posted on his Instagram business relationship on Tuesday (Apr 28) a screenshot of a postal service from jewellery store Caroz, which stated that information technology was ready to transport the signet band to Wak Doyok.

The prince posted: "@wakdoyok care to explain? This is confronting the constabulary. Goodluck @carozofficial."

Wak Doyok, whose existent name is Mohd Azwan Md Nor, posted an apology on his Instagram account on Wednesday. He wrote: "I've truly realised that my mistakes were due to my ignorance of the royal protocol. I am truly sorry for accidentally crossing the line and I promise not to repeat the same mistakes again."

He as well apologised to the people of Johor for his mistake.

The prince replied to Wak Doyok's apology post with a simple thumb's up emoji.

The jewellery store has too since deleted the post.

According to data on the Johor state website, any individual defenseless misusing the royal crest, titles or awards without the written consent from the Sultan of Johor can be prosecuted and charged with a fine of at least RM250,000 (Southward$81,000) and not more than RM500,000, or sentenced to a minimum imprisonment of at least one yr.

Wak Doyok is an actor who started out as a manner personality on social media. He has 1.ix million followers on Instagram.
